It is said that it takes 21 days to create a new habit. Well, I’m a bit of a realist. Forming a new habit takes consistency, persistence, and a desire and need for change. What’s even more important? Having someone by your side who understands you and can help develop positive change in your life.
Today, this “new” lifestyle is as important as every breath I take.
I surrendered many of my favorite foods to go gluten free, gave up having cheese with my wine, stopped lifting heavy weights and sweating profusely on the StairMaster at the gym were long gone, and I even started trading all our plastic and non-environmentally friendly houseware items. I did a complete overhaul!
It was then that I was forced to make drastic changes to my lifestyle.
Two years ago, my chronic anxiety finally caught up with me in the form of eczema, fatigue, inability to lose weight, hormonal imbalances, and constipation.
